History
The company was established in 2003. Bobby Buttar (CEO) had worked in several big IT projects in Canada and Norway. In Norway he established the idea of running many of the services he delivered in his project to a lower cost by outsourcing them directly from his original home country India. He asked Peder Floer (CSM) to team up with him, having a good experience on both the onsite and offshore. Together they form the successful entity, ION.
In 2008, ErgoGroup, one of the leading Nordic IT companies, bought 51% of ION. This has given ION the giant leap into a bigger market, professional board and improved processes.
Today, ION is a world class performing Offshoring company, becoming one of the fastest growing companies in the North of India
